For Healthy Circulation and the Natural Treatment of Varicose Veins, Spider Veins, Diabetes, Lymphodema and More!
Plus, Recent Research Links Diosmin — CircuPower's Primary Bioflavonoid — to a Dramatic Reduction of the Plaque that Signals the Onset of Alzheimer’s Disease
Oranges for healthy circulation and a healthy brain?
Who would have thought that one of the most popular and commonly enjoyed fruits in America could hold the secret to improving circulation, varicose and spider veins, hemorrhoids and leg ulcers? And yet it’s true – the humble Sweet Orange(Citrus sinensis) works remarkably well to help support healthy veins and healthy circulation, and in published research has also been shown to help a variety of health conditions including diabetes and cancer!
The secret behind the Sweet Orange’s success is not just its high levels of vitamin C. The real power behind its amazing anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-cancer properties comes from the potent bioflavonoids contained within it. Bioflavonoids are water-soluble, natural pigments contained in fruits and vegetables – they are what frequently give produce a yellow or orange color. Recent research and clinical trials have shown that certain bioflavonoids have been found to naturally support and help improve vein health as well as support your body’s natural systems to protect against diabetes complications, coronary heart disease, and cancer.
Improve circulation naturally for just a few cents a day!
The key components - essential flavonoids – of the sweet orange can be obtained in a less expensive, more reliable form than eating several oranges a day! BCN is now able to offer to you the incredible health benefits of bioflavonoids through one of the finest professional bioflavonoid products available – Crayhon Research’s CircuPower™. CircuPower™ is a combination of two powerful plant flavonoids extracted from citrus: Diosmin and Hesperidin. In CircuPower™ they are provided in a patented bioflavonoid extract, DiosVein™, which has been widely used in Europe for over 30 years (under the name Daflon). DiosVein is an extract comprised of 90% diosmin, and 10% hesperidin, in a highly bioavailable form. This bioflavonoid combination has been studied in over forty clinical trials and, although relatively new to America, has a 30-year track record of use in Europe. There it is regularly prescribed in preference to the traditional vein support, like horse chestnut and butcher’s broom. And while DiosVein™ is now included in several other formulas, we’ve selected CircuPower.™ BCN believes this product provides bioflavonoids not only in their purest and most direct form but in their most reliable form as well – this is the form of bioflavonoids that has been used successfully in Europe and the form that follows the research! (Currently, there are over 40 peer reviewed, published human clinical trials, documenting the benefits of DiosVein™.)
Over 1.3 trillion doses of Dalflon are dispensed every year because is it trusted and had been shown to be effective. Plus, it is the only natural extract providing pure, reliable, bioavailable, vein support that comes from real food.
Why try CircuPower™ and Bioflavonoids?
- CircuPower™ contains only the purest bioflavonoids: it includes the well- researched flavonoid diosmin as well as hesperidin at the most optimal dose.
- Bioflavonoids are all-natural and very safe to use – even during pregnancy!(1)
- Bioflavonoids “rarely interfere with other doctor-prescribed therapies.”(2)
- Benefits of this formulation have been studied in over forty human clinical trials.(3)
Bioflavonoids are inexpensive and easy to take, and CircuPower™ is a potent and incredibly bioavailable form of them. But what does actual clinical research have to say about CircuPower’s™ DiosVein™? (This is the same material that has been used in the studies mentioned here.) What you read below may surprise you!
Flavonoids can reduce the production of
plaque that leads to Alzheimer’s Disease!
In an exciting new study just made available, flavonoids including luteolin and diosmin were shown to be not only extremely bioavailable and easily absorbed by the body, but in an animal model they were also shown to have the incredible ability of reducing the plaque production that is associated with Alzheimer’s Disease (AD).(4) Plaque production is one part of the two-part pathology that is believed to be the basis of what becomes Alzheimer’s disease; plaque production clogs up and kills off parts of the brain while tangled proteins slow down and obscure the actions of nerve cells. What makes this discovery especially fascinating is when it is looked at in the light of ground-breaking studies done by Dr. Frank LaFerla at the Institute for Brain Aging and Dementia. His hallmark study on AD revealed that using specific antibodies to remove plaques in the brain can lead to a “total clearance of tangle pathology.”(5,6) But these results were very specific – in order for the anti-tangle antibodies to be effective, they had to be used very early on in the progression of the disease. Once the tangled proteins reach a certain stage “they stay stuck in the brain after plaque removal.”(7) The implications are clear: the best potential defense strategy against Alzheimer’s Disease is not to let plaque accumulate in the first place! This is where CircuPower™ comes in. When taken early enough, its ability to reduce the amount of plaque produced in AD may provide a defense against developing the disease at all.
Flavonoids can help reduce the symptoms associated with varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency(8) and chronic venous disease.(9)
Varicose veins are an unsightly and sometimes painful condition where veins, usually in the legs, become enlarged and twisted. This is due to the improper function of leaflet valves within the veins that prevent blood from flowing backwards. Research has shown that Diosmin can help to alleviate many of the symptoms associated with varicose veins due to its “natural anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory actions.”(10) It has also been shown to help reduce edema (swelling) in the legs. But what really set the use of flavonoids apart from other remedies for varicose veins is that they were found to be quite safe, effective and fast-acting in this situation.(11)
Flavonoids can help accelerate the healing of venous leg ulcers and help support the natural management of hemorrhoids.
When dealing with chronic leg ulcers, as sufferers know first hand, the most difficult part is trying to provide the nutritional support that can promote rapid healing. In several randomized controlled studies, Diosmin was demonstrated to accelerate the rate of leg ulcer healing. Rapid healing is also a primary concern for those suffering from hemorrhoids, a condition where varicose veins develop in the sensitive tissues of the rectum. Diosmin was shown to help in the management of hemorrhoids, where use of it for 4 weeks was accompanied by “a statistically significant improvement in all hemorrhoidal symptoms, including pain, heaviness, bleeding and pruritus (itching).”(12,13) The best of all? There were no significant side effects revealed. Diosmin has even been found to be safe to use in the treatment of hemorrhoids even during pregnancy!(14)
Flavonoids can help support circulatory health and normalize capillary function in diabetics.
One of the most important strategies for maintaining the health of individuals with diabetes is supporting the health of the circulatory system in order to avoid the onset of various vascular complications related to the disease. Diosmin given to diabetic patients for four weeks helped to reduce ischemia (lack of blood supply to the body) and decreased red blood cell aggregation.(15) Diosmin was also shown to help support and normalize capillary function in diabetics(16) as well as reduce the “stickiness of the blood” (clumping ability of red blood cells) and improve blood flow.(17) Additionally, Diosmin has been shown in several studies to, by its ability to improve circulation and reduce albumin retention, help delay and even possibly help prevent diabetic nephropathy (diabetic kidney disease.) (18)
Flavonoids can help to lower cholesterol and may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease and cancer, as well as help prevent certain cancers from metastasizing.
Recent human and animal studies have revealed that flavonoids like Diosmin also have amazing benefits for not only the circulatory system, but for the cardiovascular system as well. Flavonoids seem to be able to reduce the risk of heart disease by three major actions: improving coronary vasodilation, decreasing the ability of platelets in the blood to clot, and preventing low-density lipoproteins (LDLs) from oxidizing.(19) Further research on the biomechanisms of flavonoids has shown that they may be linked to inhibiting certain enzymes involved in cell activation.(20) This could be an important way of understanding how they may serve a role in cancer prevention. Additionally, Diosmin was shown in an animal model to be effective at helping to reduce pulmonary metastases when compared to red wine and grape seed extract.(21)
DiosVein™ can also help promote lymphatic drainage.
Our lymph system works in close equilibrium with our circulatory system via our capillaries, and Diosmin’s pro-circulatory effects reap direct benefits for it as well. Diosmin has been clinically shown in several studies to promote adequate lymphatic drainage and decrease lymphatic edema (swelling)(22) as well as improve the flow of the lymphstream. (23)
DiosVein™ stays available to your body throughout the day.
When diosmin was compared to bioflavonoid luteolin in the animal study regarding AD plaque prevention in the brain, both were effective. However, the half-life of luteolin in the body is only about four hours, making it very impractical. Diosmin, in comparison, can last in the body up to 26 hours! This means that flavonoid products like CircuPower™ can be taken once daily. (The researchers noted that the amount of Diosmin give to the animals was the equivalent of 1,000 mg for the average person.)
Taken all together, the story behind the bioflavonoids in CircuPower is truly remarkable. Flavonoids - in this case diosmin - seem to have amazing benefits for nearly every part of our body, with positive effects on all the major systems – including the brain, circulation, cardiovascular health, lymphatic system, anti-oxidant benefits - with no side effects. And with Crayhon Research’s CircuPower™ you have the benefit of knowing that the product you’re taking is the one that has been safely used for decades in Europe, and the only product that follows the most recent research! So, still drink your orange juice every morning – it is good for you. But to truly reap the health benefits of the Sweet Orange, be sure and try Crayhon Research’s CircuPower™. It does so much more than just improve circulation, and your whole body will thank you for it!
